GGP Awards 2026: Stronghold Anchor Among Best Technical Innovation Finalists
We’re proud to share that the Stronghold Mobile Anchor System was a finalist in the Best Technical Innovation category at the GGP Awards 2026.

Being shortlisted alongside some of the industry’s most inventive solutions is a strong endorsement of Stronghold’s design, engineering, and real-world impact. The recognition highlights how practical innovation can deliver measurable benefits for contractors, building owners, and installers alike.
While we didn’t take the top prize, being named a finalist in such a prestigious industry awards programme is a testament to the team behind Stronghold and our commitment to pushing the boundaries of safety and technical innovation in fenestration.

The Stronghold-Anchor System continues to transform the way glazing and fenestration professionals approach work at height, delivering safer, faster and more cost-effective installations without the need for traditional scaffolding.
Evidence to the system’s effectiveness comes from MAC, whose 15-storey replacement project at Hammond and Dickson House in Stoke-on-Trent showcases Stronghold’s ability to remove and install 250 windows entirely from inside the building. The project was completed safely, two weeks ahead of schedule, and saved approximately £160,000 compared to the cost of scaffolding.
This is supported by powerful feedback from Crystal Windows and Doors Ltd, whose ongoing use of the Stronghold has eliminated the need to turn down projects where scaffold cannot be used, cutting costs, reducing lead times and improving installer confidence. Further case studies from Prater Ltd, ABC Locksmiths and Sash Smart reinforce Stronghold’s growing reputation as the trusted solution for safe internal access for its customers, even on high-rise, restricted-access and heritage sites. Together, these examples provide clear, quantifiable proof of Stronghold’s outstanding contribution to safety, innovation and efficiency across the fenestration industry.
A technical report from SATRA clearly shows the testing requirements of the Stronghold, in which the latest innovation was tested in accordance with EN 795:2012 and CEN/TS 16415: 2013.
