The one window problem - Stronghold at Lutley Windows

Last week, Lutley Windows invited us to their fantastic training venue to demonstrate Stronghold to people from housing associations, councils and other organisations involved in delivering window work.

It was a great group to speak with because everyone brought a different perspective. Installers asked about the practical setup. Housing providers asked how it could help them get difficult repairs moving. And together, we could look at real situations around the equipment rather than just talk through slides.

We showed Stronghold at each stage: arriving on the pallet, stored on the trolley and set up around a window opening. Then came one of my favourite questions: “What about just one window?”

A single upper-floor window can be a surprisingly awkward job to plan. It was valuable to stand beside the setup and discuss where an internal approach might work, and what we would need to check first.

A big thank you to the Lutley Windows team for organising the day and bringing together such a broad range of housing professionals. Their training venue is an excellent place to have these conversations.

What also stands out to me is Lutley’s willingness to seek out practical new ideas for the housing associations and councils they work with — looking for ways to help work be delivered better, smarter and more cost effectively.
