Stronghold Anchor Joins the Glass & Glazing Federation (GGF)
The team at Stronghold Anchor are pleased to announce that we have officially joined the Glass & Glazing Federation (GGF)— the leading trade body representing the UK glass and glazing industry.
As the developers of the Stronghold Mobile Anchor Point System, joining the GGF reflects our continued commitment to improving safety standards, supporting installers, and helping the industry move towards safer and more efficient methods of working at height.
The GGF is recognised throughout the industry for promoting technical excellence, best practice, health and safety standards, and professional competency across the glazing sector.
Stronghold was developed specifically to address one of the glazing industry’s long-standing challenges — how to safely install windows from inside a building while reducing reliance on costly external scaffolding.
The system provides a temporary internal anchor point that allows installers to work in fall restraint while fitting windows at height. By enabling installation work to be completed safely from inside the building, Stronghold can help contractors:
reduce scaffold requirements,
improve installation efficiency,
minimise disruption to residents and occupants,
and enhance overall site safety.
Stronghold has already been used on social housing projects, NHS sites, and a wide range of occupied buildings where traditional access methods can create significant cost and logistical challenges.
